Leo worked at Beijing Vestone Capital Management, Co LTD as a partner for over 8 years prior to joining Back Bay Group as a advisor. Among his responsibilities and achievements are several private placements of Chinese listed companies, collaboration with investment banks and securities firms in capital formation of over $1 billion and sophisticated equity and fixed income packages of financial products. In addition he provided financial consulting services for Chinese SME’s listing on the “Chinese Pink Sheet”. He built “loan trust programs” with COFCO Trust (government owned) for Beijing high tech SMEs.
His other career moves covered in-house counsel work (2004-2008) for venture and private equity firms aspiring public offering and beyond. He was also a corporate and IP (legal Docs, Civil litigations, copyright and trademark research involving Chinese PTA) at Bin Li United Law Offices from 1998 through 2000.
Leo has a Master’s degree from University of New Hampshire (Law School) and Masters and Bachelor degrees in law and political science from Chinese Political and Law University and Jiangxi Normal University, respectively.
