Dr. Goudarzi is a passionate scientist and a critical thinker. Trained as Cell and Molecular Biologist with extensive experiences in RNA biology, Cell motility, Embryonic development and Genome modification.
He studied at Max-Planck institute in Germany and earned several prizes including the highest distinction for his thesis research and Leopoldina postdoctoral fellowship. At Harvard, he studied the function of long non-coding RNAs by crisper mediated genomic deletion and later identified all cell types of the smallest vertebrate brain by single-cell sequencing technology.
He has published several high impact articles and book chapters and has contributed in preparation of NIH-sponsored grants. He is a voracious reader in many fields besides general biology which includes Entrepreneurship, Behavioral economics, Decision making and Human mind.
Dr. Goudarzi has been instrumental in several Back Bay Group portfolio analysis, due diligence and strategy execution.
